We stopped a few years ago because it was getting to be too much work along with everything else but I guess we forgot how much we hate chasing chickens so we are going to do it again - maybe only about a hundred or so this year. The average carcass hangs out at about 600 lbs which will yield around 420 lbs of meat in the freezer for a whole animal. You are assured top quality from the hamburger to the t-bone steaks. Yes, even the pot-roast is great! All of our beef is slaughtered humanely in a state-inspected plant with an inspector present.
