One of the great things about my job is visiting some of my favorite cities. it's even better when i'm working with friends or great crews. Jan 17, 2012. On saturday, the bf and i joined a few of his friends at a great little place called bottle and bottega. For three hours, we filled our glasses and painted along with our instructor's direction while we chatted and listened to fun music. here is how my painting progressed:. There were a lot more steps between step 2 and this, but here is my finished painting. It can become an obsession - not a bad thing though. I cant wait to come up for our class. Words of a gemini. Sunday, September 18, 2011. You're only as old as you feel, right? Why do so many Republicans always appear so angry? They're on TV, in the newspapers, or online always yelling about something. I have a few friends who are full fledged members of the GOP and they aren't angry and always appearing with venom and fire spewing from their mouths. I don't understand it. I have and I'm staring at one now. That about covers my thoughts for now. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Words of a gemini. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Two days after we moved into our condo one of the closet doors fell off. Coupled with the fact that due to space issues (I warned Adam of these space issues before we bought) our dresser had to go into the closet to fit in our bedroom, we decided to take off the closet doors and come up with a new solution. Aug 31, 2011. The past month has been a whirlwind. getting ready for vacation, spending nearly two weeks in beautiful espana (separate vacation blog with pics to come), then back to the grind and trying to catch up on work, grocery shopping, cleaning, catching up with the bf and friends, etc. it's been crazy town around here. In april, g went on our second transatlantic cruise. this one left from san juan, went to a couple places in the caribbean before cruising through the atlantic and then stopping in the canary islands, portugal, and ending in spain. In st maarten, we went to maho beach. here is a picture that i took of KLM's 747 coming in from amsterdam. yes, it is truly that close! The beach is literally at the end of the runway. if you think the landing is pretty neat, you should experience the take off! Today in the sky.

Words of a gemini. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Traveling in Europe I'm always reminded of just how dependent I am on our car. I use it for almost every errand I have to run, from picking up groceries to going to the post office. If I stop and think about why I drive everywhere the answer is always one of pure laziness. Words of a gemini. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. I Don't Want To Talk Anymore. As 2010 comes to a close I thought I'd wrap up the year in a blog but instead of doing a month by month recap I'm just going to sum it up in a few sentences. Thanks to a wonderful living social escape, g and i spent part of our month in hawaii. Up until september, i'd only been to hawaii one time and we spent all of that time on maui. though i absolutely loved the island, i wanted to experience diamond head and pearl harbor on oahu. so on this trip, we decided to spend a couple days on oahu before making our way to maui. Later in the day we hiked diamond head. it was a bit of a walk there, but the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was a whirlwind Oahu trip!
