The Kids' Life: I'm a Little Cuckoo Clock
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2013/02/im-little-cuckoo-clock.html
Friday, February 08, 2013. I'm a Little Cuckoo Clock. I love when the kids come home singing or reciting things they've learned at school. Here's Millie's new song. Make sure you're paying attention - girl shuts me down when I try to cheer "Yay" for her as she usually does! Apparently it was not the time. Posted by The Hamons. At 2/08/2013 02:06:00 PM. The Kids' Life: Not To Be Forgotten
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2013/02/not-to-be-forgotten.html
Wednesday, February 06, 2013. Not To Be Forgotten. And, naturally, they are things a bit difficult to capture in word. But, well, for posterity's sake I suppose, I'll give it a try! She declares this several times a day following an attempt at, well, doing something! Whenever she needs help, she asks for it by saying, every time, "I need help you up this." Not sure where that exact phrasing came from, but hey, it beats whining and crying! Often she'll request to watch "Legos" which is actually Diego!

The Kids' Life: December 2011

Saturday, December 24, 2011. A Giving Spirit, part 2. As I've mentioned before, it is so important to us that Sean and I do what we can to instill the same perspectives and similar experiences for our children. Especially this time of year. One of the many many reasons Evan and I spent Friday at The Salvation Army to help out with their Christmas toy and food distributions. So, off he went to help lug the big black bags of toys to their new owners! Most of the pictures are blurry, but they'll do! The oth...

Who has time for baby books? This is my poor attempt to keep track of the happenings of our life as our family grows, with a few of my thoughts seasoned in along the way. Tuesday, September 25, 2012. We went to Ultrasauna a 3D ultrasound place that can tell you if you are having a boy or a girl early. We went in at 15.5 weeks. Both boys were there and got to see the baby on a big screen while sitting with daddy! And then just as we were about to give up, the baby moved and the tech said, "ITS A GIRL!

The Kids' Life: Daddy's Home, part 1
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2013/03/daddys-home-part-1.html
Friday, March 01, 2013. Daddy's Home, part 1. This past week and a half saw Evan, Millie, and I on our own as business and sadness (in the form of a funeral for a friend) took Sean away. Praise the Lord, we all fared well as ornery phases had passed and patience was maintained! Every single day, at some point or several points in the day, Millie would ask, "I see my Daddy? Sean arrived in the wee hours of the morning Thursday night. Being the amazing wife that I am (read: I really. Posted by The Hamons.

I arrived home about lunch time and received this from Evan, my first Christmas present. It was wrapping paper . wrapped in wrapping paper! Take a picture of THIS one! All in all, ...

The Kids' Life: October 2011
http://elissahamon.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. We went into Saturday with no set plans. We ended the day with a day trip to Hood River, driving the Fruit Loop Tour. Stopping at Mt. View Apple Farm for some apple picking, a return drive back down the Historic Oregon Trail Route 30, and some good ol' fashioned fun at the park. Not too shabby! Beautiful views on the drive home. Apple picking is hard work. You have to wear your vampire teeth to the park. She loved the swing! And Evan loved to help! Posted by The Hamons. Later, w...
