We are as you will probably know by know, heading off abroad across the pond (English Channel Only) to France and beyond this summer. Looking back this has been over a year in the planning and we would like to thank a few people for their assistance:-. Andy and Tracy - for putting the thought in our heads. European Diary of Wendy and Bob Cresswell. Thursday, 2 June 2011. Last update 2nd June. Today we had a mooch around Interlaken, also looking for spare wheel bolts, just in case. Very hot. Whilst sat having evening meal a thunder storm started and it was still raging at 10.45pm. We had heavy rain all night with high winds and still raining this morning. Took bus into Interlaken to do some food shopping. For the first time we left Pepe behind and it seemed very strange without him. Bob and Wendy Cresswell.

Today we took the ferry to Varenna and Bellagio from Menaggio. 2 very nice towns with very nice shops. It was very hot and arrived back at caravan late afternoon. We left him to explain the the police (who had screeched to a halt so see what we were doing) what was going on and made a hasty get away. Great site right by the edge of the Lake. Every 30mins from site into Interlaken West which takes about 10mins. The site is excellent quiet at the moment as thier season has not yet started. Thanks for the blog Sis.
