Rising Above Ministries Women’s Retreat. June 5, 2009 by Jeff Davidson. Are you stressed…overwhelmed…exhausted…overworked? Being the mom of a child with special needs can cause you to feel all these things at times. This seems especially true in the summer. School is out, activities for families with children with special needs are few are far between and we moms often feel even more isolated during this time. If you have not already signed up for the By the Brook retreat we hope you will do so.
