The Engelbrecht Zoo: August 2008
http://engelbrechtzoo.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 7, 2008. Great to even better! Yesterday was a really good day here in the NICU. After getting that darn chest tube out, Kilun has been going up hill. His oxygen sats have been really good, so they took him off the high flow nasal canula and put him on just the normal one. He continued to do so well with that, that this morning they did a room air trial and he is now off oxygen completely. We did have to go back on the bili-lights, but hey, better to get that taken care of here than home!

IT IS WHAT IT IS! Our Family - The unedited version. Thursday, March 19, 2009. The Big Guy Turns 37. Later we met with some friends and the missionaries for a discussion. Kim (not me) brought a chocolate cream pie and the missionaries brought balloons. CJ really appreciated their thoughtfulness. CJ and I started dating when he was sixteen, so WOW, that's quite a few birthdays together. I hope he had a great day because we think he is a pretty great DAD! CJ pretty much embraces everything whole-heartedly!

IT IS WHAT IT IS!: December 2008

IT IS WHAT IT IS! Our Family - The unedited version. Monday, December 1, 2008. So last week at school the annual turkey trot was held. The older kids have to run a mile and the younger kids have to run 1/2 mile. Kennedy didn't want us to come and watch her so she wouldn't tell us what time her grade was running. We went anyway and got there just in time to see her cross the finish line. She came in 4th place for her grade! Way to go Kennedy! Way to go Klayson! I was so sad that I missed it.

IT IS WHAT IT IS! Our Family - The unedited version. Monday, January 19, 2009. The Year of the Ox. If you are at all familiar with Chinese New Year you will understand that at the Roberts house 2009 is the Year of the Cow, the Year of the Chicken, and the Year of the Dog. For the past couple of years Keaton has wanted to follow in his dad's footsteps. We were able to buy some land behind our house, get it fenced, and now we have cows. You can't by just one, according to CJ, so we have two. Ashley and Adr...

We finally succumbed and created a blog to chronicle our goings-on to the world at large. Welling Chronicles: Drifting
http://wellingchronicles.blogspot.com/2008/01/drifting.html
Sunday, January 20, 2008. Anyone who has spent anytime in eastern Idaho during the winter might be able to sympathize with our current plight. It started snowing sometime before Chistmas and has just continued to pile up. We currently have over 3 feet snow in or backyard! Calista is as cute as ever, her favorite toy is a Dora doll that she packs all over the house. Unfortunately Dora has 5 different buttons, making her the least favorite toy of the rest of us. But, with any luck we may have a bi-...Okay,...

The Engelbrecht Zoo: January 2013

Saturday, January 12, 2013. On The Way To A New Me. I don't know that anyone reads this anymore, but I need to write this for myself to document the next 3 months. Today is the end of our first week of the Body For Life. And, I actually did it! I know the program works. I've worked the program before. I've never done the whole thing, but I've done the workouts. To be honest, I like the program because it's relatively easy. Never more than and hour in the gym? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are a busy fam...
