http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. We miss you and can't wait to see you in May. Here are. A ton of photos of recent happenings. They are kind of out of order, but here they are:. This was from Oliver's birthday. I love how happy he looks, enjoying his cake, surrounded by his friends. Elliot got an excavator from Grandpa Ford. His favorite thing to do is "play diggers" in the backyard. Everyday he asks me to play diggers with him, I need to be better about saying yes. The boys think it...

Chez Halverson: November 2011
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Elliot just LOOOOVES his Grandma. Every day he recounts vivid stories of all the fun he has with his Grandma. He loves to talk about the special things he is allowed to do at his Grandma's house, the amazing toys at Grandma's, the candy he is allowed to eat at his Grandma's house, the dinosaurs he keeps at his Grandma's house. Wait, what? It is definitely his Grandma. And this Grandma is a HE. Thursday, November 24, 2011. Why is he such a handful?

Chez Halverson: January 2011
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Friday, January 28, 2011. I love this silhouette of my family. A big wave had just knocked Elliot down. Even though I can’t see Ryan’s face, I can look at this picture and see exactly (in my mind’s eye) his expression. He is laughing as he swings a surprised and wet Elliot up out of the water. He looked pretty cute, too. My dad picked this outfit out for him in Paris. Oh la la! Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Dinner and a movie. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. One thing t...

Chez Halverson: February 2011
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Guess Who’s 5? I love this goofy kid! Oliver is such a sweet, funny, smart guy. He is kind to his brothers and is so helpful to me. He makes friends so easily and loves to laugh and play. Some of the things that stand out to me about him at this stage are:. He gets dressed all by himself and picks out his own outifts (his style trends towards “comfort first”, with his fleece sweatpants in constant rotation). He also decided that what he wanted to ...

Chez Halverson: Castle Rock Hike
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2012/02/castle-rock-hike.html
At Home with the Halversons. Monday, February 13, 2012. I lay down next to him with our faces close together and we whisper about our day or I ask him "would you rather" questions such as, "would you rather drive a dump truck or a cement mixer? Or "would you rather eat Oreo cookies or rice crispy treats? Oliver is doing really well, too. He is still loving Kindergarten. I adore his teacher, she is completely unflappable. There are 32 kids in his class. (I know, crazy! Great pics and great post! Sticker T...

At Home with the Halversons. Monday, February 27, 2012. Impressive likenesses of my little guys. No Oliver is not brushing his teeth, I thought the toothbrush might make a cool fine mist-type spray if we tried flicking it with our fingers. It didn't really work, though. Meh.it was worth a try.). Monday, February 13, 2012. Or "would you rather eat Oreo cookies or rice crispy treats? Oliver is thriving in that environment and has made some great friends. Chez Halverson: July 2011
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Monday, July 25, 2011. The Venice of California. I loved how every aspect of the buildings and gardens were exquisitely designed. One of my favorite details were these re-bar trellises for bougainvillea. Not everyone (ahem, Adam) thought they were terrific but I sure did. The rebar has rusted and now they look like giant sculptural trees. 160; . We stayed in LA for four days and then took 2 days to drive the Pacific Coast Highway home. That was an amazing trip! Elliot has ...

Chez Halverson: May 2011
http://chezhalverson.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
At Home with the Halversons. Saturday, May 14, 2011. This is such a sweet video that our good friend Bryan Kenitzer (wwww.bayareavideographer.com) made of Andrew. Bryan is really talented and we wish that he could just follow the boys around and record these fleeting moments of their childhood all the time. Which Anwoo thinks is comic genius. This little guy is just good as gold and I love him with all my heart. Friday, May 6, 2011. Thoughts on Mother’s Day. What are you going to do? Rain In My Head.
