Monday, October 19, 2009. Wow, I was doing pretty well there for a couple of weeks and then I really fell off the radar, didn't I? I've got some cute soccer pictures to show you from Opening Day. we're enjoying watching the kids improve, but not so much enjoying watching Nick get over the novelty of soccer practice and decide he's no longer interested in participating in certain drills. Blerg. It seems like he still loves the games, though. And Julianna likes it all, especially when she plays Goalie.

Monday, August 31, 2009. School starts tomorrow, and I am none too pleased to be saying goodbye to summer. This summer was just so great! A nice mix of structured activities and free, unscheduled time. I'm going to have "First Day of School" pictures to post here tomorrow, I guess, so what I'm going to do is post a picture of something from TODAY and then also a picture from the summer (aaaaaah). Friday, November 20, 2009. Nick: Room 2, Calvary Preschool. So much to tell. As usual, things have really been hopping around here. Sigh summer, why did you have to end? Yes, I am a broken record. Summer, summer, summer, we get it! Katie's class went on a field trip to Mission San Juan Capistrano. They took Amtrak from Union Station. They really enjoyed their day. I think I was the only mom who had taken that exact same field trip herself in fourth grade! At this point, Maya was too tired to continue :-).

Friday, May 28, 2010. The kids had fun on a little Spring Break trip out to Arizona to see Grandpa and Great-Grandma Jeanne. After Spring Break, Mommy was done with her long-term sub position at Westridge, so she and Nick had lots of fun times together! Mommy was also able to take all three kids on outings when they had early dismissals and days off. Not to mention Mother's Day! School and extracurricular activities brought us fun times as well. 4th Grade Walk Through California. The Sound of Music.
