Rising from the ashes, working it out. Sunday, 16 September 2012. I have now lived on my own for one whole week. In that time I've learnt how to decorate, thanks Ellie! Have moved furniture upstairs and downstairs. My house looks marvellous. Spacious, tidy, with a fabulous guest bedroom and an upstairs study. It's been a really busy week,( when aren't mine busy? And on Thursday I got elected Chair of Governors for three schools, Which I guess means that busy just went stratospheric. That's the good stuff.

Rising from the ashes, working it out. Sunday, 18 November 2012. I love the change of seasons, though I suppose frosty mornings are something you have to brace yourself for. Time to get out the gloves again I guess. Over in this part of the world, Im looking for a shady hat. 19 November 2012 at 00:05. A frost can look very pretty, but I do not like this time of year when nearly everything in the garden is dying back. Today I shall . Tell you about moi. Tell you about moi. I am a forty something teacher and mother of four boys. Started life in Wales, studied in England and then moved back and forth between Wales and England for twenty odd years whilst fitting in as many holidays to France that finances allowed. I had just returned from England surviving 1970's English food by patronizing a little restaurant, "The Golden Egg", on Oxford Street in London. Salt - pinch to taste - I use sea-salt.
