CAMBRIAN PATHWAYS: February 2011
http://teetzelscambrianpathways.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. February 7, 2011. Diana and I had several illustrious and celebrated personages visit us here in Cambria during the last several weeks. The next morning Todd braved our local dog park with me, after which we had a leisurely breakfast harbor side in Morro Bay. Yakking, and, of course, sleeping (nothing like watching paint dry! These are fascinating animals—just ask Karin and Scott! Below are some snaps of our guests, which I hope you enjoy! A hundred y...

Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. January 6, 2013. BLEEDING THE RED AND WHITE. Diana gave me the best (and quite unexpected) Christmas present ever this year: Tickets to the 2013 Rose Bowl! I’ve been to a Rose Bowl football game before, in 2005. But, who really cares about Michigan and Texas anyhow (no offense to my many friends from Michigan)? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Subscribe To Cambrian Pathways. Shortly after their beloved brittany Maxi died of cancer in late January, the Teetzels of Cambria, CA adopted two senior brittanys through American Brittany Rescue. The brittanys, named Dax and Molly are ten years old and were being fostered in their native state of Colorado. Below is a video about Dax and Molly which we hope you'll like:. Links to this post. Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. January 20, 2011. A LATE CHRISTMAS IN PALO ALTO, CA! Being retired allows one to play fast and loose (or slow and loose) with time and one's schedule. Accordingly, it wasn't until mid-January when we celebrated Christmas with Erik, Rachel, Ronan, and Nieve! Of course there was the excitement of opening packages! We all took a long walk to, as Ronan calls it, their mysterious-hidden park, which was great fun. Links to this post. THERE IT IS.". Do not g...

Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. July 25, 2010. THE YEARS JUST KEEP ROLLIN' ON BY! The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary's Coastal Discovery Center held it's fourth annual Fair last week. Diana and I volunteered to help at the event again this year, something we've had the pleasure of doing since the Grand Opening of the MBNMS/CSP Coastal Discovery Center in 2007. That ceremony/event was the precursor for THE FAIR. I thought I'd share some photographs I took at The Fair, enjoy!

Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. November 25, 2010. All in all, it is great fun! Links to this post. November 22, 2010. I thought I would give everyone a brief update on Toby, our rescue Brittany. We originally were fostering him after he was picked-up wondering around in a field outside Bakersfield, CA with a severely broken leg, some broken teeth, infected ears, and several inches of matted hair and debris. He has learned to live around and with his limitations, and to develop new ...

Musings of A Retired Citizen and Seeker of the Truth. February 3, 2012. Maxim “Maxi” Teetzel. Born: 12/13/1999, Detroit, MI. Died: 4:45 PM, 1/30/2012, Davis, CA. I was, and am, devastated. Di and I became Maxi’s parents on 1/30/2000, during a visit to my ancestral home in Detroit. The irony of his death on 1/30/2012- exactly 12 years later, just exponentially. I must admit that I had thought that such people were crazy with such altitudes toward their pet’s passing from this life. But it’s more tha...
