The University of Cambridge, the University of California, Berkeley, and the London School of Economics are joint participants in Tata International Social Entrepreneurship Scheme (ISES), an innovative international student internship programme launched by the Tata Group. Camvol organises volunteer placements with environment and development related organisations in India. Students usually volunteer during the University summer vacation, between July and September each year, for a period of six to eight weeks. Undergraduate and graduate students who are finishing their degree courses can be accommodated for longer periods. Camvol was established in November 2006, and is a UK registered charity.
