Controlled Chaos: December 2013
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
You would have thought that we were all professional set designers. With a blink of an eye, we changed the farm from a Ninja/Animal Birthday to Christmas Celebration. Michelle tackled the task of making Camo Christmas PJs for everyone this year. Here are some photos from our present opening adventures. This is about as excited as Carson gets these days. I love this photo of Henry. We are very excited. Audrey thought that she wanted to learn how to crochet. Kaylin's enthusiasm for this game is overwhelming.

Controlled Chaos: And We're Off...
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2015/07/and-we-off.html
The 'loading the car' scene from Ollie Hopnoodles Haven of Bliss was playing in my head all week as I was packing. Initially, knowing that we had all this extra room in the NV, I allowed myself a lot of packing liberties. I quickly realized how fast we were going to fill this van, with bikes and camping gear! Well, we didn't exactly get up at 4am and beat the traffic and I think I forgot the bath mat, but we are on our way! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Carving with Cub Scouts.

Controlled Chaos: Day 1 . . . and we are off!!
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2014/07/day-1.html
Day 1 . . . and we are off! IDEA: Dos and Don'ts list. Brad and I already discussed that we we don't want our vacation every year to be to the beach. There are so many different and amazing places to visit, it doesn't seem right to limit our family to just one location. However, we had so much fun last year, I couldn't imagine not coming back. Plus we learned a few tips and tricks to help make the vacation even better-we hope! Tip 1: You can't plan for the weather. After all the trips to the farm and Cin...

Controlled Chaos: November 2013
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Here are a couple of other random photos from the month of November. Carter and I walking to our voting location. This was the first time that Carter rode his bike some where besides the sidewalk in front of our house. He was so excited and so tired at the end of the day. We did shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. I think that it might actually be getting easier. I only had to tell them twice that the stuff in the boxes wasn't for them. It's always so much fun when we have friends over to visit.

Controlled Chaos: Backyard Football
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2015/05/backyard-football.html
The boys playing football! If you know anything about us you know that we are not very sporty and soccer is about the extent of our backyard games. It was fun to watch all the boys engage in America's favorite past time tonight. We must have summer fever! Labels: around the house. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). First Day of Summer. Controlled Chaos: Irish Dance
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2014/06/irish-dance.html
The Dance Recital has become one of my favorite parenting events. I love watching Kaylin light up as the spot light is literally on her for the evening. I am sure her cheeks must be sore at the end of the evening from all of the smiling that she does. While Kaylin has enjoyed dance and Irish dance in particular very much, she has decided that she wants to do gymnastics next year, so this might be our last recital. We had all the grandparents over for dinner before the big show. June 12, 2014 at 4:57 PM.

Controlled Chaos: January 2014
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
The Great Room Switch. Once Connor became "big boy" and would only sleep in the boys room and would only get dressed in the boys room (even though his clothes were in the other room) I knew that it was time for the change. So, we picked a long weekend and put it on the calendar. A change like this required us to literally turn our house upside down. Our room is now in the basement with a dark grey bottom half and a light grey top. Everyone wanted to help paint so badly. We didn't dare let them paint ...

Controlled Chaos: July 2014
http://thefisherfive.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
This year we are celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary. Thanks to grandparents who are willing to hang out with the kids, Brad and I decided that we were going to go "international" and see Niagara Falls. Brad's caption to this photo:. Nikki was convinced we were going to jail because we had a jar of fresh salsa which might be considered the illegal importing of fruits and vegetables. Without being detained by border guards and with salsa still in tow, we made it into Canada. The rest of our evening w...

Controlled Chaos: May 2015

First Day of Summer. It took us almost two hours to find our suits, towels, flip flops, back packs, sunscreen, and goggles, but we finally made it to the pool! The boys playing football!
