In the present moment...: Domestic Goddess? Yeah, Not So Much...
http://inthepresentmomentmom.blogspot.com/2015/04/domestic-goddess-yeah-not-so-much.html
In the present moment. Yeah, Not So Much. I am a crappy house keeper. There's no other way to say it. When I first quit my job to become a stay-at-home-mom I had all these fantasies of finally having the time to really clean my house every week. My home would look like those homes you see in magazines. Clean. Organized. Beautiful. I would do it all! I would be the next Martha Stewart.only a whole lot nicer. And with a sense of humor. Yes I would be a Domestic Goddess! The thing is, when I get on a cleani...

In the present moment...: March 2015
http://inthepresentmomentmom.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
In the present moment. Can I Really Call Myself A Writer? What do you do? It's what grownups ask each other by way of a greeting because we so often identify ourselves by what we do professionally. I'm a stay-at-home-mom," I reply. And if I'm meeting someone who is not another SAHM, but instead a member of the "working world" that statement is often met with a blank look or a tepid, "Oh, well, that's nice.". So, then I add, "Oh, and I'm also a writer.". At this point the non-SAHM perks up with a, "Oh!

Lia, not Juno: Miserable most, to love unloved.
http://lianotjuno.blogspot.com/2010/08/miserable-most-to-love-unloved.html
Lia, not Juno. Monday, August 16, 2010. Miserable most, to love unloved. But everything else seems trivial. This is a pretty useless post. Maybe, in some ways, I'm trying to pull a Lucius Fox when he tries to describe to Bruce Wayne how he came up with the antidote to Scarecrow's fear toxin:. Lucius: I analyzed your blood, isolating the receptor compounds and the protein based catalyst. Bruce: Am I meant to understand any of that? Lucius: Not at all. I just wanted you to know how hard it was. Im sorry yo...

Lia, not Juno: Hey, look! A new post!
http://lianotjuno.blogspot.com/2010/08/hey-look-new-post.html
Lia, not Juno. Monday, August 23, 2010. I was gonna make another thousand for the seabass, but I already have so many. Instead, I'll make him tiny socks. When I woke up this morning, I didn't know how to hold needles. And look what I have now! Scraggly, I know. But c'mon. Throw me a bone here. Lia - not Juno. August 23, 2010 at 7:24 PM. Very impressed by the knitting. Not a bone, the truth. Good luck with the move back to that awesome city. August 23, 2010 at 8:44 PM. You know it is teh awesome! Both tak...

Lia, not Juno. Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Sterilized hallways and green Jello. After a sleepless night filled with excruciating pain, I am now in the hospital. Still don't know what's wrong - will post information as it comes. Lia - not Juno. August 4, 2010 at 6:16 AM. Sending positive thoughts and vibes your way. 3. August 4, 2010 at 6:36 AM. Notes From the Edge of the Spectrum: February 2011
http://notesfromtheedgeofthespectrum.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Notes From the Edge of the Spectrum. Monday, February 14, 2011. I haven't posted in quite a while, I know. I don't want to jinx anything. Things are going quite well for Alex now. He has met all his IEP goals FOR THE YEAR already, at the half-way mark. I mean, gasp, so many phrases here NEVER used to describe Alex before: "made some new friends", "has conversations", "can work cooperatively in a group", "ORAL LANGUAGE SKILLS ARE ON GRADE LEVEL"! Behavior is age appropriate" "able to listen attentively".

Notes From the Edge of the Spectrum: April 2012
http://notesfromtheedgeofthespectrum.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Notes From the Edge of the Spectrum. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. It's been a long time since I have posted! Mostly just because I have been very busy. I have been substituting for our school district both as a teacher's aide in special ed and in the clinic for the school nurses. And I have been job hunting and taking an RN Return to Practice class at our local community college. And last week I got a job! I learn something new from Alex all the time! Notes From the Edge of the Spectrum. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. I know I have not posted in so long. What can I say? I have gone back to work in nursing and after taking care of patients at work and coming home and taking care of my own 4 kids, I am exhausted most days! I am glad to be back at work, I did miss it. I hope all is well with you my friends! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Little Bit Autistic. And other ideas and thoughts . Calcutta is My Mother Documentary. Autism In a Word. Heart, Mind and Seoul.

B*tchy Barbie: The Last Chair
http://www.btchybarbie.com/2013/04/the-last-chair.html
This blog is a humorous look at Barbie’s difficult relationship with her Mean Mom, who is a scheming, relentless elderly narcissist. Strongly influenced by David Sedaris (but a little bitchier), Barbie quotes Mean Mom on topics from Barbie’s clothing, (“I wouldn’t wear that if you paid me”), to Barbie’s emotional health (“Are you having a mental breakdown? 8221;). Having survived a childhood as Mean Mom’s daughter, Barbie now must figure out how to survive Mean Mom’s old age. Sunday, April 28, 2013.
