Thursday, June 20, 2013. Now that summer has hit the seacoast we've had to give the beaches back to the tourists. We managed to snap one last group shot on a warm day in May. Our daytime beach adventures may be over for the summer but we can still do the occasional evening on the salty shore. A few weeks ago we pulled out the camera and took the pups for a walk in the park where the first blooms of the season were coming out with the warmer weather. Designed by Kate Rideout. They don't seem to mind and have been enjoying our trips to the beach where I work on learning about light and the many settings that need to be tuned in the right pitch to get a beautiful shot. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Christmas in West Virginia. After two glorious weeks of vacation, Greg and I made it back to Pullman, and back to work and school. We drove 42 hours (stopping only for gas and restrooms every 4 hours) back to West Virginia so that we could spend Christmas with our family and friends. We had a great trip, were blessed with easy traveling conditions (special thanks to all those praying we had good weather! Here are just a few pictures from our trip:. The whole gang in Ripley.

Life is Uncertain . . . Travel the World and Eat Dessert First! Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Tuesday dinner- Gado Gado. Ok, so I had lots of fresh veggies to use up and this is my new favorite dish! If you're not familiar with Gado Gado (I wasn't), it's an Indonesian dish that uses peanut butter and coconut milk. Depending on the ingredients you use, this dish can be made gluten free and is dairy free. 1/2 cup unprocessed peanut butter (I used Jif because that's what I had). 14 ounces canned coconut milk.

Saturday, August 16, 2014. Last evening we took stroll to a lake on Guardsman Pass. It was only about a mile round trip, but it offered the chance for Copo to swim, and swim he did. Here is a compilation of big jumps he did. It's amazing how fearless he is of the water compared with the rest of his day. As you'll see I think he found his happy place.
