JNU’s River Rafting trip documented. We trekked for about two hours on the last day of the trip just before leaving the camp (7 AM to 9 AM). We crossed the river on rafts led by the guide Mr. Harish (yeah! The same flamboyant cowboy! We got a wonderful glimpse of our camp from the other side of the river. JNU’s River Rafting trip documented. For the uninitiated, a Kayak/Canoe is a small human-powered boat. We saw a lot of Kayaking in the camp. Many from our group tried hand at Kayaking. We were told it is very difficult to master and takes about six months. Many who went Kayaking fell in the river and I was kinda waiting for my friends to give me those Kodak moments! 😉 Many disappointed me of course! Spotted these in the river; we watched mesmerizingly of course! One of our trainers ( Charanjiv Kalha).

JNU’s River Rafting trip documented. Thanks to the compulsion to save batteries, I did not shoot any JNU campus departure pics. But there are other pics just the same. This page documents our reaching the camp. We went by public buses from the ISBT, Delhi and never used chartered buses. It was more or less comfortable and enjoyable. This bus staff was rather rude with us and let us ride his bus to the camp site after a lot of haggling! I shot him to give him his fifteen minutes of fame! Leave one →.
