Seaside Hodge Podge: Anyone for a roadtrip?

http://seasidehodgepodge.blogspot.com/2009/10/anyone-for-roadtrip.html

On the East Coast, "hodge podge" is a much anticipated traditional summer soup made with all the first vegetables of the season.in the dictionary it means a mixture or medley. This is my hodge podge of thoughts, musings and inklings: Set at the seaside because I do all my best musing where I can hear the waves. Thursday, October 15, 2009. Anyone for a roadtrip? 1) Pick a friend willing to have an adventure of sorts. 4) Provide snacks for the road that work with whatever is planned. 6) Take back roads whe...

That's my stapler: The Lunch Kit

http://thatsmystapler.blogspot.com/2005/10/lunch-kit.html

Saturday, October 22, 2005. The stapler's father-in-law retires next week. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arnold's lunch kit on November 4. Over the years, there were many changes. As the company changed it's name, the lunch kit also evolved. It received 6 coats of paint, was decorated with banana and other fruit stickers, as well as having twist ties and odd pieces of metal used to hold it together. You grew to adapt to a new lunch room, and new lunch buddies. These go to 11.

That's my stapler: August 2005

http://thatsmystapler.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html

Saturday, August 27, 2005. Today Mrs. Stapler gets her letter to the editor published - because the local paper didn't (yet) publish it in their weekly edition. :. I address this letter to the inconsiderate individuals who drove through the vegetable garden at Graminia School:. The summer weeks have been spent tending the garden, which is not easy when everyone is busy with their own lives. At the end of September we plan to harvest the garden and once again donate the food. In our programs, Girl Guides ...
