Nothing Normal: Yikes! School's almost out!!!
http://saylorgirl.blogspot.com/2005/05/yikes-schools-almost-out.html
Thursday, May 12, 2005. Oh, my goodness! There is (counting today) only five more days of school left. I am so ill-prepared for summer vacation! Lol EVERY year I say "This year will be different" . and then, every year is essentially the same. lol. That's what I like. It is harder with the older boys, but they do love to skateboard. I'm glad for that, because it gets them some great exercise! Has anybody ever tried to skateboard? I'm sure, as always, that the summer will FLY by! It goes just too fast!

http://saylorgirl.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 27, 2005. In honor of Tim. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Age 38. Tim was the brother of a dear friend of mine from Nashville. When I moved to Tennessee, it was without knowing a soul. I was alone. (I can't imagine what I was thinking! Smile Beverly and her family took me in, and I became part of their family. Her brother, Tim, became like my little brother. Tim was quirky.but so much fun! Posted by Melody @ 8:52 AM. View my complete profile. Its a NEW year! Happy day - happy year!

Nothing Normal: January 2005
http://saylorgirl.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 25, 2005. I'm nervous today. It is going to be an unusual day. I have to take my son to counseling. He wrote some "disturbing" poetry at school. Bummer. Did he really even know what he was doing? I have no idea. I don't think so. I'm thankful that God is in control. I have to believe that to keep my sanity. I would be a real mess if I didn't believe God was in control! Posted by Melody @ 8:53 AM. What can I say? What can I say? So, what gives? Why would he do that? Its a NEW year!

I guess today, I'm feeling like being "real". I just need to vent. We go see him tonight. We are nervous. Does he blame us? Is he just BSing his way through treatment? Will we ever have to go through this again? Oh, Lord, I hope not. He HAD. SHE (mom) DROVE HIM HOME! My energies now must be with my son. We must do...

Friday, November 18, 2005. We have sure been through the fire! I can not believe it has been sooooo very long since I have posted! We have been through so much since I was here last! The most impacting event happened on Monday, September 26, 2005. It was NOT a day like any other day. My son had been in trouble at school - again. I was so upset with him. He had been a bully. That is the bottom line. He has been taught better! And they assured me that they did. I grabbed my stuff, called 911 and ran down t...

Thursday, June 01, 2006. Thursday, June 1, 2006. Well, school is finally out - for the summer! The boys and I are enjoying the time off from the "regular schedule". Gary and I have established a new "rule" for this summer - no computers on (we have four of them! Until after I get home from the afternoon newspaper route! I have to tell you, it has been the most peaceful summer so far! In April (my first meeting to chair), we had 36 ladies there and EIGHT gave their hearts to the Lord! How exciting is that!
