A Cardboard Problem: #WalletCard
http://www.acardboardproblem.com/p/walletcard.html
Wallet Card was created by Breakdown Cards. Think of it as Flat Stanley only for collectors. You take a card, carry it around in your wallet and then take pictures with it in places you go. I love this idea and am joining in the fun. I'm going to post the photos here of my Wallet card along the way. Let's see where this adventure is going to take us. January 5, 2015. Going home (Topps offices, NYC). Original #walletcard picture . Let's get this going. A photo posted by Susan Lulgjuraj (@yanxchick) on.

LOOKING FOR: | The Pettitte Pursuit

Uh oh, somebody figured out how to change this portion. Laquo; A&G HELP! I haven’t posted worth a damn lately, for a couple of reasons. The first – although I moved over a month ago, I still haven’t set up my “office” (which is a huge storage closet where we put my computer desk) yet. Basically my only internet access is at my office, and when I’m there, they usually make me work. OK, hopefully it’s not another two weeks before I post again. Be good, people. A Cardboard Problem: December 2014
http://www.acardboardproblem.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
December 31, 2014. Looking back on 2014 - so I missed a resolution or two. Another year of collecting is gone. My hobby and my regular life have merged. I collect baseball cards. I make baseball cards. I collect baseball cards I make. Yet, I still want more. I want ALL the baseball cards. One would think that seeing cards every day would perhaps desensitize me to the hobby, decrease my desire to collect. Oh no! Last year, I posted my three resolutions to Beckett.com (remember when I worked there? Topps m...

A Cardboard Problem: April 2015
http://www.acardboardproblem.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
April 14, 2015. My newest cardboard obsession. I have a new obsession. I love to collect things. Sometimes not just baseball cards, and I usually have to curtail a collection before it starts so it doesn’t get out of hand. I’ve had to limit them to just the Supernatural ones. The boxes are not small and can add up after just a few purchases. Only going to get the Jeters (though I’ve been lucky to get most as gifts). I refuse to buy one even though I want ALL of them. But these 5x7 oversized sets. I contr...

A Cardboard Problem: Buried Treasure: 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle
http://www.acardboardproblem.com/2009/06/buried-treasure-1952-bowman-mickey.html
June 24, 2009. Buried Treasure: 1952 Bowman Mickey Mantle. These are the pictures of the cards, the one in the case can be scanned without for anyone sincerely interested. Honestly, I just wanted to showcase these cards because it is not everyday any of us stumble upon cards like this. I would like to try and finagle the one in bad shape for my own collection. Anyway, enjoy the look at them because I sure am. Sweet cards, even if you aren't a Yankees fan. June 24, 2009 4:57 PM. June 24, 2009 5:10 PM.

January 18, 2015. The nominations for the 2014 Bip Awards are . Welcome to the 2014 Bip Awards! Below are 10 categories of voting in the first Bip Awards. I removed one of the categories from the earlier post - Best blog post. There just weren't enough entries for that to have a good poll. Blogs and social media have made collecting more enjoyable for me and others. I love reading stories, checking out those mail days and learning more about cards than I ever thought possible. Top of the Topps: 1987 Topps: Part I
http://topofthetopps.blogspot.com/2013/07/1987-topps-part-i.html
Wednesday, July 17, 2013. 1987 Topps: Part I. Fortunately, thanks to modern technology, MLB Extra Innings and Gameday Audio, and Vin's legendary longevity, I again get to hear him regularly even after three decades have passed. Of course, even the lifetime I've spent enjoying his presence in my life only covers half of the story of his sixty-four. Years calling Dodger games. I get goose bumps every time I tune in and hear "It's time for Dodger baseball! I hear Vin's voice in the headphines of my Walkman&...

From the “Why Did I Do That?” Department | The Card Chop

Braves. Baseball. Cards. From the “Why Did I Do That? Asymp; 2 Comments. When you’re a fairly focused collector and working with a pretty small card budget the last thing you want to do is pull off an impulse buy. I can say with pride that very rare is the occasion when I do such a purchase. And when I do, it’s usually a couple of packs from Target. So I’ll either keep it in my oddball collection or the Braves will sign JHey long term and I might just have to begin collecting him. Larr; Previous post.
