Group Meetings

Care for Carers runs a number of support groups and meetings for carers on a regular basis. The groups are :. Portobello Carers Support Group. This group meets monthly at Portobello Library from. 1130 to 1pm and is open to all carers, meeting on the. Last Tuesday of the month. Short Residential Respite Breaks. The respite needs of carers is a vital part of supporting families to stay together and carers to care for longer in the community. Since 2000 Care for Carers have been developing and running ‘ Stepping Out ’ short residential breaks for carers.
