So I feel that I can't fully be finished with this story until I explain all the adventure I had actually getting back home. Here is the original plan- my plane is to leave Budapest at 1pm, I get to JFK with 3 hours to clear customs and immigration and then am back in SF around midnight. Hopped on a tram outside my hostel, which took me to a subway station, took a subway line to the last stop (easy to find a last stop! Stories from my travels. whenever I get around to updating them. Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Zakopane rocks my fucking world. Yes, the superfluous swearing is necessary. Look below, it's freaking GORGEOUS. Sort of Boulder-esque, but smaller and more kick-ass. We then just hiked along thise ridge for oh, about 7 hours, and then did the 2 hour descent to the trailhead. 11 hours in total! Mom you might not want to read this. This isn't my hike, but it has a bunch of pictures showing similiar conditions.
