http://52weeks52eats.blogspot.com/2011/08/week-28-trip-to-okanagan.html
52 weeks, 52 eats. A new recipe every week for a year. How hard can it really be? Even with a new baby. Sunday, August 7, 2011. Week 28: A trip to the Okanagan. So last week we got out of the city and took a little trip to the Okanagan. The weather was great and the wine and food was as tasty as always. I thought I would go over some of the highlights of the trip for this post. As we do every time in the Okanagan, we went to Quails Gate. For the first time we went to Mission Hill. We stayed at a nice B&B.

Restaurants, recipes, reviews and random musings. Thursday, July 30, 2009. This is an easy appetizer to put together if you need something last minute. I like to have a baguette in the freezer at all times. You could use dry mushrooms for this and while fresh herbs are best, dry will do. Tarragon would be nice too, as mushrooms and tarragon are a great coupling. Don't have cambozola? Try a gorgonzola, blue, camembert- -there are no rules! French baguette, thinly sliced into 16 pieces and toasted. While m...

Seeking local treasures and the incomparably interesting. Monday, January 19, 2015. Polly (April 1948 - October 8, 2014). Terry (April 1944 - October 12, 2014). After Jeff and Terry's wonderful hospitality in Chevy Chase, we moved in with Lowell through Air B&B for almost 3 months. We loved South Reston: the great outdoors, driving to work through the neighborhood, Flippin Pizza nights, Lowell's back yard. View from Mt. Ralph. To Arizona - the beautiful desert, especially, the desert botanic gardens.
