Live Love Learn: September 2006
http://shirtsblog.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 30, 2006. Please stop looking like that, you are making me hungry. I can't understand what the problem is, everything seemed fine yesterday. What are your symptoms, doctor? D'y'know what really is starting to get me right peaved? A message to Green Day and their millions of 12 year old fans: We liked it when you wrote songs about drugs and feeling sad! It was annoying, but at least it was amusing! Thanks a bunch guys, I feel really encouraged. Not my will but Yours. None of my family ...

Live Love Learn: April 2007
http://shirtsblog.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 16, 2007. The Reformed tradition is one that is always striving to stick to Biblical truth. Everything we believe is rooted in the fact that the Bible is the infallible word of God. Our doctrine is rooted in Scripture alone, which hopefully makes it as close to the truth as possible. Sometimes it is easier to look to the Catechism, because it is so nicely laid out, but it is so much more fullfilling when the knowledge comes straight from the Word, and we can be. What about Catechism classes?

In Him..: February 2011
http://naomi-wwwthoughtsinhim.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
For in Him, we live, and move, and have ALL our being. (Acts 17:28a). Monday, February 28, 2011. Back on American soil! Here's a couple last shots from our trip as we landed back in snowy Detroit after around 12 hours of travel. Our plane touched ground at 10:45 pm and we had no problems going through customs or baggage, so we were very thankful about that! We thank the Lord for such an incredible trip, and I so hope and pray that another opportunity arises sometime in the future, to go on another! In th...

we are broken: June 2009
http://trevor-malda.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 13 June 2009. Football game in Abuja. A couple weekends ago, a group of us travelled to Abuja to watch the Nigeria vs Kenya qualifier game for the 2010 World Cup. I've never even watched a soccer game on TV and here I am travelling the 4 hours to Abuja to watch two African teams compete for a spot in the World Cup. We stuck out a tad at the stadium, and the Nigerians were all pretty excited to see a bunch of white people dressed up in Nigerian jerseys at the game. Lots of excitement. And not ve...

Saturday, 31 October 2009. Lagos was okay otherwise. I did some training with some of our partners there, teaching them how to properly implement and complete the surveys, as well as how to enter the data once the surveys are complete. For the rest of the time. I read. Which is never a bad thing. I finished two books! First novel I've read in. I can't remember how long) and The Art of Prayer. Both were good, in their respective categories. The Three Musketeers. That means no money! That means no future!

we are broken: December 2009

Sunday, 20 December 2009. I just wrote this on Facebook, I think it sums up things for me. It sure does suck to say goodbye (forever? To the country and the friends that have shaped my life for basically the past two years. On the other hand, saying hello again to friends and family that will shape my future is pretty darn exciting. Feelings are funny.". How could I try to pay for myself? Just shows you how little one can really learn of a culture even after a combined 16 months of living in it. Bit easi...

Tuesday, 6 December 2011. Am I a photographer yet? I've finished off another photo class, this time I took one on architectural photography. (The last course I took was Photography 101). This class was pretty interesting and I took it for the reason that it's something I wouldn't likely be learning on my own or by my assisting Ewout for Open Photography. Oh, did I not mention that I'm an assistant? Changed my mind. But it does have some neat features! For the second assignment, we went to Christ's Church...
