Stories are Gifts | be Fresh be Simple

Sharing stories. Without apologies. No more regrets. Not a drop of guilt from sharing too much. This entry was posted on December 31, 2010 by freshfloralart. It was filed under Family. I’ll b...

Continuing our tour of Lang Pioneer Village. August 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm. We chose the grassy area out front of the visitor’s centre where there were both trees and picnic tables where we’d eat our lunch. My daughter and husband went to the car to collect our picnic items and we spread out a blanket for anyone to sit in the sun who chose to. The day was a bit cool. My husband got to have his sandwich after all. Guess that’s a lesson not to leave it to the birds. On to the Douro town hall, after passing bui...

Maranatha Lutheran Church annual picnic. August 2, 2015 at 7:43 pm. The picnic time had come around again, and having something to do with creating the bulletins, I made sure their welcome was posted often enough that our members would get to see it–that and the address so everyone could find it. A member of Maranatha who always has the most wonderful smile. And one more, Ubaldo, his wife and Angie. Some people really dress up for a church picnic. Back from holidays | Storygal's Blog

July 22, 2015 at 4:03 pm. Over a week ago we were in the middle of our holidays in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario. Being 2 1/2 hours away by car is different from flying to a far-flung island, but it was a good holiday spent with family and some time on our own as well. I’ll be spreading this holiday over several posts, so stay tuned. We arrived at Grandview Resort on Buckhorn Lake on the 10th of July mid-afternoon, in time to relax a bit and get settled in before the supper hour. On The ga...
