Thursday, October 24, 2013. Last week most of the Fiber Department traveled to Toronto for 4 days. We started with a very busy day seeing the Ai Weiwei. And David Bowie is. Exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Followed by a discussion with Sarah Quinton at the Textile Museum of Canada. And then a tour through Killjoy's Kastle. A haunted house by Allyson Mitchell. A great quote in a show at the Art Gallery of Ontario. The wall of children's names at the Ai Weiwei exhibition. The crabs at Ai Weiwei.

Fiber collaborated with Architecture to host LPS and after they presented their lecture they met individually with students from each department to critique work. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Graduation and School's out. Now school is out and there is some construction going on in the New Studios Building as well as all over the grounds. Wednesday, January 21, 2009. The second semester has started. Actually it started last week, and while things are relatively quiet next week brings a lot of activity. Before that, today, we have presentations by the second years. They will each make 30 minute presentations about the development of their work. On Sunday February 1 mixed media artist Jon Haddock will present his lecture entitled "Cartoon Violence," at the museum. On the second he will meet individually with students in Fiber.
