Cloudy sunday and the lions park playdate. It's cloudy and cool today, and i'm nearing the point of surrendering myself to a nap and ignoring the ever-growing list of things that could get done. The kids are worn out, too. we spent a couple hours this morning at lions park in zionsville with their pals elora and vincent. the slides were wet and the ground was mulched and muddy, but the little ones didn't seem to mind. Six years old never looked so cool. Finally forced myself to finish the transition in grace's room from toddler sweet to a hip growing girl retreat. stay tuned for a later post on some of the special items that went in to making her room feel so bright and hip, without spending much money at all! I love long weekends. they give me enough time to knock out the routine chores AND work on some fun projects, too. remember the antler canvas and felt feather garland mentioned here. Well, both are complete, and i love the way they fit into the gallery wall above the desk.
