Tuesday, July 7, 2015. We went to Isle of Palms last week for 4 days with the youth of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. We had a great time relaxing and playing in the sand and in the waves. We were very lucky that we didn't have any shark encounters (although we were right down the beach when THIS KID. Was bitten by a shark.) YIKES! Tuesday, August 11, 2015. It's Fun to Swim at the YMCA. Ashleigh had her first ever swim lessons last week. She has always loved "swimming" in the water, and by that I mean she enjoys getting in the pool or ocean, but she doesn't know how to swim and she will only jump in if she is holding onto your hands. This was how she jumped into the water on the first day of lessons. And this is how she jumped into the water on the third day of lessons! This week, she learned so much! August 12, 2015 at 4:35 PM.

Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (16 months). In September, Miriam turned 16 months old. She is becoming fiercely independent and showing development growth each and every day! She seems to learn at least one new skill every day! Her new favorite sign is "more." She uses this sign a lot at the dinner table. This girl likes to eat! Her last 2 molars finally came in. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. We were so lucky to be able to spend this Thanksgiving with our friends down the street. We have grown very close to them, and it helps that our kiddos are best friends! Frankie and Ashleigh were born the exact same day (20 minutes apart and in two different states) and Miriam and Tyler are 2 weeks apart). It was so much fun planning our meal in advance, and then getting to spend the whole afternoon/evening with them! Seriously, don’t they look like they could be related?

Friday, October 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (17 months- October). I know I'm so slow posting all these monthly updates.but I'm mostly caught up! In October, Miriam turned 17 months old. She likes to do things on her own. But she is happiest when she is right beside her big sis. This child loves to dance! Her arms start flailing about and she turns around in circles! She loves to say, "Hey Daddy! Her new favorite sign is "all done.". However, she has no problem sleeping like THIS when Mommy is around.

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Marvelous Miriam (15 months). Let's rewind a little bit and go back to August when Miriam turned 15 months old). Well, this child is up and running (kind of). She is starting to walk faster now, and I'm sure she'll be running soon. She wants to try to keep up with sister! She is getting brave when she is outside.
