The Castro Adventures
http://castroadventures.blogspot.com/2008/11/this-is-hilarious-im-not-just-saying.html
Friday, November 7, 2008. This video is hilarious. I'm not just saying it because they're my children, but it really is! Roberto likes to download from YouTube and play the Superman S. For them. Well, they've got the tune down well. But they're pretty lost with the words. But, what they lack in singing ability they make up for with dramatic interpretation! Jacob also tries to fly. Me and baby Sharon loved the video! Your boys are hysterical! November 7, 2008 at 11:20 AM. Contact Chauncey or Melanie West.

Monday, October 20, 2008. It was so great to have Matt here this week. Amelia had fun with her Daddy, but after dealing with Amelia all day for a week, I think Matt's ready to get back to work. Matt commented that Amelia "owes us" for all we've been put through with her over the last 2 years. A few events of the week:. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall weather. Of course, Amelia loved the petting zoo at the Zoo. Watching princess and alphabet songs on YouTube with daddy. And so did I.

Thursday, June 26, 2008. We are leaving in four days for our summer trip to Utah! We will leave on July 1st and return on July 20 th. Istanbul Adventures: May 2010
http://mattybondfamily.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 31, 2010. Life's Full of Ups and Downs. This week started out with lots of "ups.". MONDAY: We went to Emirgan park with JoAnne. Who knew there were parks like this in this crowded, crazy city? It was amazing. A dozen different play areas, a huge pond with bridges and water fountains, and hundreds of picnic tables in endless groves of trees. In April, the park is full of tulip sculptures and the park is insanely crowded on weekends, but on Monday, the place was all ours. Now we have to find a ...

Istanbul Adventures: July 2008

Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Amelia is loving cherries - we have them as a snack almost every afternoon - but it only takes a few minutes to go from slightly messy to full-on covered in cherry juice. I got the most amazing video clip of her reaction when she sees her messy face, but it's too big of a file to post. bummer. Thursday, July 24, 2008. I just wanted to post some pictures from the last couple of weeks. Amelia is very good at eating her vegetables - she LOVES tomatoes. Coloring in her boots :).

Istanbul Adventures: Motherhood is Still Hard in Turkey
http://mattybondfamily.blogspot.com/2010/06/motherhood-is-still-hard-in-turkey.html
Tuesday, June 8, 2010. Motherhood is Still Hard in Turkey. To have a good attitude, but it hasn't been easy. I am hoping. Things will get better when we move to our permanent apartment and can feel more settled, have more of our "stuff" from our air shipment, and have more things to do. It WILL be better, I will be happy, my kids will by happy.(positive mantras). And speaking of "apartment," we FINALLY have one! And we move in this weekend! She came up with that pose all on her own. Chase loves the water.

Monday, October 13, 2008. My Hands Are Cold! Get That Camera Out of My Face! We had our first snow yesterday! It's already melting, but the kids are still enjoying it a day later. I'm trying to enjoy the cold weather, but it's going to take some getting used to. Jacob also does not enjoy being cold, as seen in the video. Sorry, I could not figure out how to rotate the video so it's right side up. Try not to get a kink in your neck while watching it! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Castro Adventures: March 2008
http://castroadventures.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 31, 2008. I took these pictures of Andrew about a week ago. He was really in the mood to have his picture taken, as you can see! That's a scary face. Today, Andrew put on a performance. That would have won him a spot on "Supernanny". Had I captured it on video. He was sweet and easygoing the entire morning, but as soon as I mentioned it being the dreaded "N" word, Naptime,. He ran away and hid. To me that "I'm not going to nap! I reply back, "Oh yes you are! To his room, throws. My children...

The Castro Adventures: Thanksgiving Point
http://castroadventures.blogspot.com/2008/09/thanksgiving-point.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. These pics are from back in August when we visited the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum. It was a two-buck Tuesday, so I could not pass up a good deal! Other than this, we had a good time. The museum is top quality and I'd love to go again, maybe with just Daniel and Andrew. Keeping up with Jacob is a full-time job! It's amazing how fast and far those little legs can go! Waiting outside in the COLD wind! Aren't they just precious? Daniel and a Stegasuarus.
