HERITAGE HARVEST While searching for my Mother’s Garden, I found my own…. Friday, September 17, 2010. SWEET SALVAGED FARMHOUSE FLOWERS. With vegatable gardening being such a disappointment this summer, bits and pieces of my world were saved with touches of color and a freshness to the eye! My farmhouse flowers have been gleaned from throw aways, trades, giveaways, and salvage from my Mom and Mother-in-Law. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bentley and I Are Taking A Short Break. Meet our newest addition to our farm family, Millie our corgie/heeler cross, she is about 10 weeks old and totally adorable. We have had her for a week now and she is behaving very well. I can't believe I haven't posted since May, so much has happened. The farm has just moved along, even though our summer wasn't so great. We only have 2 more farmers markets left! Produce deliveries are done for the season and we are starting to button up things for winter. We already have 6 garden rows cleaned out, only 15 more to go, woo hoo!

A place to keep my friends and customers current on farm happenings, and a way for me to keep it all in perspective! Monday, March 22, 2010. Here are the photos I wasn't able to get printed for the post below, fabulous new steps and my tomato babies! Why is it that every project takes twice as long and costs twice as much as you think? Sunday was definately a day of multi-tasking, while the boys built stairs and started the wiring, I got going in the greenhouse. I moved a few flats of tomato starts o...

Four Seasons Farm: Garden Progress
http://fourseasonsfarm-farmermom4.blogspot.com/2011/06/garden-progress.html
A place to keep my friends and customers current on farm happenings, and a way for me to keep it all in perspective! Thursday, June 30, 2011. This spring has definately been cold and wet! We have had to get the garden work done between rain storms and puddles. This is the garden in May, we always plant the tomatoes and all of our vine crops in black weed barrier, it keeps their roots nice and toasty and keeps the weeds down for us. This year we are adding the peppers and herbs to this list. Confessions o...

Four Seasons Farm: Time does fly!!
http://fourseasonsfarm-farmermom4.blogspot.com/2011/06/time-does-fly.html
A place to keep my friends and customers current on farm happenings, and a way for me to keep it all in perspective! Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Where has the last 4 months gone since I last posted? Perhaps to all the snow and rain we were having, oh wait, it is still raining at least half the week. Perhaps the time went to the sports the kids were doing or the spring cleaning I thought I would have time to do. Some days I just wish time would creep instead of fly. Heritage Harvest: GARDENING FOR OTHERS!
http://heritageharvest.blogspot.com/2010/06/gardening-for-others.html
HERITAGE HARVEST While searching for my Mother’s Garden, I found my own…. Thursday, June 24, 2010. Not only are we battling the elements in North Idaho, but adding insult to injury our garden has been beset with quail. They snipped the chard, the radishes have been planted twice and are a delight to the appetites they have for fresh spicey greenery. They have clipped it to the ground leaving only the pathetic stems for evidence they have feasted! Maybe that is a good thing! Just good clean living. Living...
