Central-European Olympiad in Informatics. CEOI – What is it? Enlarging or decreasing the set of CEOI countries can only be adopted by consensus. Students (contestants) have to be in school during the year when the contest is held and at most 19 years old. The team leader will be a member of the General Assembly. Central-European Olympiad in Informatics. CEOI – What is it? July 8, 2011. The Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) is an annual informatics competition for secondary school students. Each of the participating central European countries sends a team of up to four contestants, a team leader and a deputy team leader. Delegations from the Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia are invited as regular participants. CEOI 2016 will be held in Piatra Neamț, Romania.
