November 20, 2007. There it was. He didn't see me watching him, but he saw my mentor on the other side of the room. While a negative aspect of teaching, I was full prepared to encounter it. What I wasn't ready for was. But back to the issue at hand, when did kids learn to use the gadgets? Or "we miss you": Rather, "The TV is stuck on this fizzy mode and we can't watch House! I have set up so many iPod's, Palm Pilots, Blackberry's that should teaching ever fail me, I am going straight to.

November 16, 2007. Trying to get used to spending time in high school is not that hard. Apart from learning what halls to not walk down, to never wear black/gold (Latin Kings gang colors) or blue/red (Bragtown Stars gang colors), to avoid the cafeteria at all costs during lunch time. But the strangest of all, is the new name I have taken on since I began teaching. I am no longer Reid (except to some. Of my fellow teachers). I am now Mr. Simpson.
