Local Bars and Restaurants. If you have never before been to Charlestown, you have missed a treat! It has largely escaped development and remains one of the finest and most fascinating places on the Cornish Coast. Built in 1790 the village is home to an original Georgian working harbour; a small amount of china clay is still exported in an average of 30 - 40 ships a year. As a result Charlestown retains both charm and identity. We are sure that you will have a wonderful holiday at our cottage.
