That said, let's get started. 3 cups whole wheat flour. 3 1/2 cups unbleached white flour. 2 1/2 cups warm water. 1 1/2 T dry yeast. 2T finely chopped fresh parsley.

Now, I am neither a chemist nor a cardiologist but I do understand the difference between fats that the human body recognizes and knows how to metabolize, and altered/manufactured fats that are foreign to our basic chemistry and are not designed to be ingested by living creatures. But here's the thing! Butter tastes great, but have you seen the price of it lately? Both are saturated fats, ...

Simplicity Rebel Breads: Local Reviews
http://simplicityrebelbreads.blogspot.com/p/local-reviews.html
Who writes this blog? Don't be deceived by the no-frills storefront or the simple decor, Little Pat's might be small on "fluff" but they are BIG on great food! Also be aware that they are a popular local joint, so on the weekends they tend to be quite busy. Plan to arrive a little early in case you have to wait a few minutes for a table. Weekdays are not quite as pressed, and even on the weekends the wait is much shorter by late morning. During the dinner hour, they have a great salad bar. Now, don't...

Simplicity Rebel Breads: Apple Blueberry Muffins
http://simplicityrebelbreads.blogspot.com/2016/05/apple-blueberry-muffins.html
Who writes this blog? Thursday, May 12, 2016. One of my "yummy memories" from my childhood is of blueberry muffins. They have always been a favorite of mine, and as a child I savored the sweetness of the muffin, the tangy berries, the butter melting down over it all.that is one delicious memory! This recipe pairs blueberries and apples together, a perfect blend of sweet and tart. It has "snack" in mind rather than "dessert", so I use a little less sugar and add a helping of oatmeal. 1/3 cup melted butter.

http://simplicityrebelbreads.blogspot.com/2016/10/baked-baking-sodais-that-thing.html
Who writes this blog? Tuesday, October 4, 2016. Baked baking soda.is that a thing? Recently when I told a few folks I was planning to make pretzels, there was mention that the use of lye is the kicker when it comes to producing that perfect chewy, dark pretzel crust. There is actually a perfectly effective stand-in for lye when baking pretzels or bagels, and most kitchens have it.or at least the raw form of it. Yes, I am referring to baking soda. So where does baking soda come in? Ordinary baking soda's ...
