I have practiced as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Gloucestershire for more than ten years and I have seen many changes in the services available to patients. There has been a move to treat patients closer to home. Local care is highly valued by patients and in Gloucestershire we are well served by a network of community hospitals.
