The Buckeye Fun Meeting was the first Level 4 meet for Molly. They had been working on the Level 4 routines all summer and this was their chance to show off. While this was essentially an intramural scrimmage (Buckeye was the only team competing), the scoring was real. Molly looked sharp in her new team Leo! Handsprings (9 in a row).

Named as such, you would think the ". Would be run on Grand Avenue. Ha! Des Moines has once again challenged your world view by running the Grand Blue Mile on Locust Street! My run was significantly less exciting and I fully appreciate that I do much better over longer distances. The winner completed the mile in 3:55.

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. It is finally starting to warm up here. Monday Jason had off of work so we braved the rain and went searching for waterfalls. Oh you didn't know that Ben had a major obsession with waterfalls? I was navigating so we got lost a few times and drove past the waterfall without noticing it once. (Jason did say that it was still safer for me to navigate than to drive). We are experiencing some pretty bad flooding so the Snake river was especially high. Thursday, December 30, 2010.
