I lightly sanded the entire piece until it was smooth as butta! If you have used chalk paint you know the feel I'm talkin about. Then I applied a couple of coats of Annie Sloan clear wax. Thursday, July 25, 2013. What's the obsession with headboards these days? As I mentioned in my previous post I decided to use the bed we already have, with a headboard and footboard and to make a covered insert to fit on the headboard. My hubby measured the opening and cut a board for me. You can click on any of the photos on the blog to enlarge them. I wanted to add to it so I covered 42 buttons in the same fabric and will place one on each tuft. The fabric - this more closely depicts the actual color.

Thought I'd share my squash casserole recipe with you as many of you are getting so many squash you don't know what to do with them all. 4 or 5 medium yellow squash - cubed. 1 can cream of chicken soup (you can also use cream of mushroom or cream of celery). 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I like extra sharp). Pepperidge farm bread crumbs. Cook squash and onion in a sauce pan with water to cover - add salt and pepper to taste. When squash are tender, drain and set aside. 5 Projects...
