Thursday, July 3, 2014. Bartlett Hall - San Francisco, CA. The Maverick Burger with Kobe Butter Beef at Bartlett Hall. Bartlett Hall in San Francisco's Union Square area has been touting themselves as having a great burger:. Kobe beef with butter, butter and more butter. All the ingredients are in place for a great experience. Very nice space. A bar. Lots to eat. I would love to try the place again when the place was busier and the burger was hot. It is nice to have his type of place near Union Square.

Hoosier Burger Boy: Burger. - Santa Cruz, CA
http://www.hoosierburgerboy.com/2015/01/burger-santa-cruz-ca.html
Saturday, January 3, 2015. Burger. - Santa Cruz, CA. The Syd Barrett Burger at Burger. in Santa Cruz comes in a metal pan with Fries. I ordered the Hank Williams ($7.75),. The Shake at Burger was luscious. The shake came first, exquisitely topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. We had five spoons and the shake was quickly consumed. It was cold but still creamy. The shake was made with chocolate ice cream, not vanilla with syrup. It was sublime. The fries were disappointingly cold. We told our...

http://www.hoosierburgerboy.com/2008/11/taylors-automatic-refresher-st-helena.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. Gott's Roadside - St. Helena, CA. Gott's Roadside (formerly Taylor’s Automatic Refresher) in St. Helena has been a Napa Valley institution for years. Everyone talks about wine when they think of Napa, but they should also think of great hamburgers. We sat down with our new friends and quickly got our shake. It was a handsome looking concoction with chocolate syrup artfully flowing in the shake. It was very creamy and tasty. Perfect on this hot day. The fries were thin cut with ...

http://you-gonna.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Are you gonna eat that? Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Some peppers, grilled until lightly charred. I used a mix of Thor, Fish, Holy Mole and Jalepeno. Some tomatillos, grilled until they begin to split. The juice of 2 limes. 6 or 8 cloves of garlic. 1/2 tsp. cumin. 1 tsp sea salt. A few grinds of black pepper. Let the grilled items cool then pull the stems from the peppers, leaving seeds intact. Toss everything into the food processor and blend until somewhat smooth. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Burrito Bracket: Burrito Bracket on One-Week Break
http://burritobracket.blogspot.com/2007/11/burrito-bracket-on-one-week-break.html
Burrito Bracket on One-Week Break. Hi, all. We're taking this week off for a couple reasons:. 1) Burrito Bracket has fallen way behind on some "real life" work. 2) Burrito Bracket has eaten way too many off-bracket burritos over the past several days. Of note: La Pasadaita's barbacoa, which I thought was so wonderful a couple of weeks ago. Was a little bit off when I had it for dinner last night. See you all next week. Posted by Nate Silver. Im sad there was no winner. Me too. Stupid politics.

The Burrito Bracket: De Pasada: Round 2 Review
http://burritobracket.blogspot.com/2007/11/de-pasada-round-2-review.html
De Pasada: Round 2 Review. 1108 N. Ashland. Defeated #13 Mr. Taco's Restaurant in Round 1. Standard operating procedure when you order a milanesa torta - and if you're new to the torta world, this is the kind of torta that you want to be ordering - is to be presented with a large, amoeba-shaped piece of steak, brutally beaten down until it's thinner than Calista Flockhart, and coated with a light breading. Oftentimes, as in the case of this otherwise very good torta from Arturo's. Posted by Nate Silver.

The Burrito Bracket: Dona Naty's Taco: Round 2 Review
http://burritobracket.blogspot.com/2007/11/dona-natys-taco-round-2-review.html
Dona Naty's Taco: Round 2 Review. 12 Dona Naty's Taco. 1813 W. Chicago. Defeated #5 Taqueria Super Burrito in Round 1. Defeated #12b Carniceria Leon in Eat-in Match. On its best days, Dona Naty's Taco can remind me of De Pasada. Both restaurants take their time, and put some extra care and forethought into how their food is prepared. In Dona Naty's case, that meant the spicy ground chicken mixture that made an extraordinary meal out of an ordinary chicken burrito. Posted by Nate Silver. Tacos al Pastor (...
