And is available for weekly, midweek or weekend breaks (apart from July and August when it is full weeks only Sat to Sat). The caravan is fully equipped and can sleep 6/8 people comfortably. St Mary's Millennium Centre, Meadow Lane, Liverpool, L12 5EA. Monday, 24 August 2015. Marg's Quilt and Sue's Blocks. A few weeks ago this quilt was shown in it's early stages and look at it now. Marg brought it in to "Show and Tell". all FINISHED! Every part of the panel has been beautifully handstitched around the designs. Very effective Marg and a job well done. Tuesday, 19 November 2013. Stars, Owls and Muppets and Teds. Two lovely new ladies have joined the ranks of the Super Star Quilters and as a result we have received three new quilts for the children. First up, after meeting me in Abakhan Fabric store, Sally made two quilts and this one is a quartet of stars. Thank you so much Sally! The backing tones beautifully and it will surely be special for one of the older children and a keepsake. What a treasure. The backing matches the border so effectively.

Saturday, 31 January 2015. Quilt 100 from Osset. What a milestone, we've reached 100 quilts with the arrival of this cutie from Osset in West Yorkshire. It was made by Pat, the friend of Lisa's Mother in law and it was entirely stitched by hand. Lisa (of the Craftgarden blog) was kind enough to post it here and it has already gone to the unit ready to keep a special little one cosy and happy during treatments. Last Saturday a group of our members travelled to Coppull to visit a super exhibition of quilts and allied crafts hosted by Sticky Fingers fabric shop in Spendmore Road. Great name for the road as it is certainly easy to "spend more" there with all the lovely fabric they stock. The exhibition was held in the nearby Methodist Hall and Church. Some fabulous work displayed in the hall.
