It either makes the /k/ sound as in cat, or the /s/ sound as in celery. the letter C is part of the /ch/ digraph as in chicken. When C is followed by 'e' or 'i' it often has the soft sound. It doesn't have a unique sound. so what? Isn't it the very same reason why the letter C is unique?

Ok, that's nothing wrong with Sabah and sorry if I did make you all think Sabah is not a really good state in Malaysia. *grin*. So, let's start my journey to the "Land Below the Wind" Sabah. :).
