Thursday, 19 June 2014. Grandmaman and Grandpapa's visit started out with lots of cuddles and a suitcase full of treats for the kids :). Thursday, 24 April 2014. When the six of us returned from Hong Kong, we knew that we had to be conscious of not over-planning the rest of my parent's stay. To try and fit too much in would leave us all exhausted and cranky, so we stuck to an "every two day" strategy. The actual monument was blocked off so you couldn't get close, due to perceived threats. The crowds gathering in to gawk at the white people eating ice cream. How exciting! We're all going on the toboggan thing, you coming with us?

http://bouliannebeijingadventure.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 28 December 2013. The comments from friends and family back home have been consistent leading up to this trip. "Oh! Everything is made in China! You should be able to get so much cheap! Is she going to steal my stuff? Throw me in a ditch and take all of my money? The questions grew louder and my head and my pulse raced as we went down to the car park in the basement where a man waited beside a dingy old van. "Sheleena! Why did you agree to this? Boulianne Beijing Adventure: May 2014
http://bouliannebeijingadventure.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 22 May 2014. 6:30AM and out the door. After Jesse and Ender were changed into new outfits, we searched around for our friends who were joining us for our weekend getaway. After a windy afternoon at the beach, a dip in the pool, and a nice supper at the Indian restaurant in the hotel, we all crashed in our rooms early. We had arrived only ten minutes before the show started, so we settled in to our seats, unsure as to what had just happened. Was this part of the Underwater World? My work friends...

Thursday, 20 February 2014. One for the Little Guys. I had enough. I walked towards the men and yelled out, "Hey! Hello)." The man waved me off with a smug look on his face and laughed to make it look like it was no big deal. "Hey! You good, yes? I looked back at the supervisor and pulled out my phone and glared at him, hoping that the thought of me phoning someone (I don't know who) would intimidate him. He rolled his eyes and walked away. I realize (now), that I could have been stepping into an awfully...
