Thursday, March 12, 2009. Why some people are 'naturally thinner' than others. Did you know that not all fat in the body is the same? And that some fat helps to burn more calories than other types? Brown fat burns more calories than white fat. Babies are born with brown fat- in fact, brown fat is what helps babies regulate their body temperature during those early days. Monday, December 28, 2009. Christmas and 2009 Reflection. Our first Christmas as a family! We visited with LOTS of family and had such a great time. I have to give Natalie credit - she did really well with all the running, the driving, the people, and the presents. 8226; Brad's dad made her a baby doll cradle. He had entered it in a county fair and it took first place. Brad's mom made a doll for it and several outfits. Both are just beautiful. Merry Christmas to ME! Baby cradle and doll. We love you guys!

Thursday, September 10, 2009. A quick update on Natalie. She's a big talker. She's a little shy to start, but once she gets going, she is VERY vocal. She's also starting to giggle. She usually will give us just a squeal or just a "heeeeeee".but occasionally we're treated with a "hehehe." She rolls over both ways now and she's even SCOOTING! Saturday, July 18, 2009. Working and Road Trip. Two weeks ago I returned to work. One of the hardest things I've ever had to do. The first day wasn't so bad - I was able to visit with some coworkers, catch up on stuff, and I left a little early to go with Brad and Natalie to her 2-month doctor visit. Friday, October 30, 2009. Last weekend was an exciting one! We joined our good friends, Jenn, Alex and their daughter (Natalie's BFF) at the zoo for the "Spooky Saturday" event. We dressed Natalie in her costume and took off for Forest Park. She did amazingly well.
