Thursday June 30, 2010. Our group piled into vans and drove through Addis - 45 minutes or so to Bethzatha. I slowly ...

The Chaste Divorcee: August 2011
http://chastedivorcee.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 13, 2011. Today is a special day for me. Today's date marks the second anniversary since my ex-husband and I separated. His verbal and emotional abuse had been ramping up for years, but it was completely over the top on our last vacation together. We took what should have been a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime trip with all our children- a cruise to Alaska on one of the better cruise lines with really nice cabins. We were supposed to be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. Another exa...

http://musings-onthemove.blogspot.com/2016/07/more-changes.html

As we continued to prep him for move-in day (now only a month away), he was thinking over his options and deciding to stay at home and continue at the local community college rather than go to the nearby university. And so, because this is his journey, not ours, we said okay. I've been a bit exhausted, honestly, answering who decided on this.all through this journey I've been asked that. Who decided on that school, you or him? And so, in ...

Allow me to introduce you to my family. My husband, The Chemist. The love of my life since we were 16 years old, over half our lives. My husband is a chemist, and manages the S. American oil field division of a small company. He's an amazing father, a sometimes science teacher in our homeschool, a wonderful husband. He's been known to write poetry and short stories, given the proper inspiration. Lately he's more known for wrestling little boys into submission and losing light saber fights. Cheerful, gene...

Our journey, our adventure, our story. Adoption is a gift and a miracle; and for our family, it is a step of faith. We desire to follow His lead, and bring love home. Friday, April 30, 2010. You have never seen a cuter baby. Than the one I got new pictures of in my email today. She is two months old; and THE cutest baby ever. So, since we can't share her pictures until after we pass court, see if you can envision this. My arms literally aches with the longing to snuggle her. Being snuggled by Almaz.
