Chris Amy. Noah. Eden. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. I love you my precious. 8220;I love you, sweetheart, so very much.” I say this a lot, but it still hasn’t’ sunk in. Granted I am inconsistent and I don’t show them as well as I’d like. But they have no idea and could never understand how much I love them. I think I enjoy giving to them more than they enjoy receiving. Despite all of this, there is an underlying innate distrust that doubts that we are really going to provide for them. Crazy isn’t it?

Chris Amy. Noah. Eden. Monday, April 11, 2011. So so sweet, at the beach! Noah and dad building a castle :). Both so excited about this picture :). Notice noah and the stick :). Noah and the shovel. Of all the things we could find at the beach. shells, sand dollars, hundred dollar bills. Noah finds a disgusting previously used flosser in the sand and attempts to use it . definitely a dentist in the making. "only floss the ones you want to keep". A flowered hat, the sun, a towel. a real girl :).

Chris Amy. Noah. Eden. Sunday, August 22, 2010. Fishing in the creek! I really can't get enough of this little one or his dad! Two of the faces i adore :! Dirty little scraped up knees! And the fact that it doesn't bother him at all :). Attempting to kill fish with rocks :). Contemplating on whether to finish this fish and crab off :). The temptation is too great. But how can we blame him? He got this love of raw fish from us :). As if the day couldn't get better . sushi! I know i don't deserve such joy!

So, I have gotten a couple of comments from people wondering about our very long sabbatical at the fair :) here is a little update on the last 2 months since our journey to the fair :). Eden grace at 34 weeks! A trip to charlotte to see matt and steph and sweet lucy. Noah picking out his very first Christmas tree! Decorating with mom :). Aunt Tuck teaching Noah and Lucy how to play the piano! Noah's first Christmas in Charleston!

Than waking up, staying in pjs, turning on cartoons (maybe a bit premature) and just having fun. Chase loves to play with the pots and pans. When we are in the kitchen. We were paying someone hourly to watch Chase and I just felt guilty paying for an hour while I worked out. But, I was at a point where I needed to do something. We went to Dalton, GA. To visit dear friends of ours who moved there during the summer. They live on 18 acres. In an absolutely beautiful home! We couldn't stay but for a night but we had such a great time! It was so good to see them! I miss my Hartley boys! For a weekend of fun! Hogan having a blast.
