STOP!!! | chrissiebrand
https://chrissiebrand.wordpress.com/2011/03/25/stop
The sign says it all. and there is NO getting out of it! Aah hmmm…. I am guilty as charged following a wee lapse in concentration. Oops! And although this is not the ‘actual’ stop sign where the offense was committed, for the purpose of my blog I have photographed it as a stand in replacement. (I love the artistic expression that someone* with great passion has added to its statement. and the way it still manages to smile brightly in the sun ). NZE meets Te Reo Maori | yeahnahsweetas

Random bits of kiwispeak. March 13, 2011 / yeahnahsweetas. NZE meets Te Reo Maori. In last week’s post I said that a notable feature of New Zealand English is the borrowed words of Maori origin found in its lexicon. Today I will expand on this further. Specific examples of loanwords that entered NZE in this period are. Moa, kiwi, weka, pukeko, rimu, kauri, totara, Kaitaia, Otaki, haka, wahine. Most of the words we (whether intentionally or not) pronounce badly are from this wave, particularly place names.

Social Software and the Enterprise. Are you game to try something new? April 11, 2011. That’s the big question really…. There are many avenues to consider but what social media solution will suit your business the best? The thing is though, by not investigating the options and taking a punt, you could unwittingly be missing out on loads of potential revenue or productivity, OR BOTH! Social Software and the Enterprise. Larr; Are you game to try something new? The power of Social Networking (and shaving my head). April 6, 2011. Yesterday I signed up to shave my head with a group of my workmates on Friday 08 April, in support of the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation. After I registered with the Shave For A Cure. A worthy example of the benefits of Social Software in Enterprise, or in this case charity. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public). Http:/...

Social Software and the Enterprise. Larr; Adding a Blogroll. Playing with my widget. Computer crash = bad… and I’m a bit mad (at myself). March 30, 2011. Another thing I realised is just how much I depend on my computer to just keep on ticking over. Normally I’m pretty thorough about making copies about such things… just in case. Alas, not this time. Okay so I dropped the ‘s’ but I couldn’t resist! If there is one thing I’ve learned so far, it’s that you sure can kill a few hours reading blogs and playing with your own. Never thought I’d be saying this but it’s great fun and I now look forward to making subsequent posts. March 25, 2011 at 2:29 am. It sure can h...

Social Software and the Enterprise. Larr; Playing with my widget. Social Software and the Enterprise. Why use Social Software? What are the benefits/pitfalls…? March 22, 2011. Some of the ways in which a business could use social software are:. To seek feedback and development. Propagating non-commercially sensitive info that would benefit the business by wide distribution. Not so much ‘in your face’ direct advertising but getting people discussing your products and business in general. One thing I have ...

I am also pleased to announce that, on November 22, 2014, a Spiritually significant day and the day of the inspirational New Moon in Sagittarius, I published a second website - www.astrologycity.com. This New Moon represents a time of reinvigorating and reclaiming our search for truth and having the courage to follow this search with sincerity and tenacity. I feel this website, as it evolves over time, may be helpful to the thinkers and seekers of our world, of which I am one. More books by Chrissie Blaze.
