Thursday, March 8, 2007. I hope that this email find everyone well. :). Well, our update is that we have moved into a flat on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We opted for a 1 bedroom in Manhattan rather than a 2 bedroom in Brooklyn but we have a comfy sofa bed in the lounge that is ready for guests! I work relatively close to the UN and the amount of security in the area was a tad over-indulgent. Walking to work last Monday from Grand Central there appeared to be police officers at every intersection. Police sirens were continually sounding as another convoy travelled to or from the UN.
