http://www.andiejohnsonsews.com/2010/10/help-i-have-quilters-block-block.html
I have quilter's block block! I'm conflicted. Don't know how I feel about how this is coming together. So I ask you - artists, quilters, knitters, anyone really - should I keep it as it is or should I take it apart and add some white or gray sashing and border? Gillian's block - my favorite. One of the extra blocks I made. I love that paisley print in the center. Tatum (aka Ting Ting) a tad curious about the photo shoot during her morning playtime. Posted by Andie Johnson. andie johnson sews: Quilted Note Cards - Method 2
http://www.andiejohnsonsews.com/2010/05/quilted-note-cards-method-2.html
Quilted Note Cards - Method 2. As with method 1, you will need note cards and envelopes, thread and scrap strips of fabric no less than 1/2 inch wide. Method 2 uses a glue stick - any glue stick will do. With the strips in place, begin to glue them down in the order that you placed them (mine was yellow, blue, pink floral wreaths, purple, pink stripe). It's more important to glue the edges than getting the middle. After all strips are glued down - now we sew them on. Posted by Andie Johnson. I see you ar...

http://www.andiejohnsonsews.com/2014/08/oh-how-i-love-thee-essex-linen.html
Oh How I Love Thee, Essex Linen. Oh Essex Linen, you slay me. Your nubby texture, your sophisticated weave. You're like a warm hug on a cold day. And Kona solids? Your rainbowliciousness makes my heart go pitter-pat. This bad boy is done. It's only taken me a year to finish it, but it's no longer staring at me, taunting me with its "just do it already" glare. I win this time, Unfinished Project Pile. So this baby is ready to be quilted! It's a queen size - for my very tall, middle child. At the same time.

What Does Pat Bravo Think of MDCQ? A dynamo of a woman in a tiny little package - finally, finally reviewed our book Modern Designs For Classic Quilts. She's got some sweet things to say about the book and some general praising of Kelly and me that, quite frankly, I'm not at all embarrassed to brag about. Actually, I'm eating it up.
