November 06, 2013. Pumpkin Patch and Halloween. I am pretty big into celebrating. I LOVE any reason to dress up in a ridiculous outfit and celebrate something with people and food and fun. February 08, 2013. Ava Noelle is 4 weeks and a bit of life lately. I can't believe Ava is already 4 weeks old. We all have felt right at home with her including Ariy. April 29, 2013. 3 Month old Ava Noelle. Ava will be 4 months on May 11th. I am definitely not as good at recording milestones about her and pictures as well. I hope to get back on the bandwagon but we will see. She is starting to roll over. Not consistent but she has rolled over from belly to back a few times and back to side. Trying to sit up. It's funny to see this. Sometimes she tries to sit up from her car seat or swing. Time to make sure we are buckling her in. Check out my chubby cheeks and chin.

January 14, 2014. 2013 Year in Pictures! Coming home to two little kids and the thick of winter and Christmas was hard for whatever reason. I was tired and just emotionally spent. This all came out on New Year's day. We all got sick the week of Christmas and it was finally my turn. I felt horrible and was tired and angry. I was finally broken enough to share and be open with Rick. Brought Ava Noelle to us. Miss Lara flew out and was able to be part of the birth. Learning to smile and so much cuteness.

February 03, 2014. Whole30: The results are in. 30 Days ago Rick and I started the Whole30 challenge. I also thought it was a fun challenge to do together. There is also something to go all out on a goal and completing it. It makes other goals you are working on more attainable and somehow helps create order. I enjoyed all the benefits of this and anticipate doing it again someday. For now we plan to do this as our core way of eating along with incorporating a few more foods. Total Lost: 20 lbs.
