Debbie's Mentations: December 2007
http://debbiesmentations.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 31, 2007. There has been a rather long blog silence from me. The simple reason is that I have changed jobs and took 3.5 weeks leave so I have been internet-less for the past few weeks. Hopefully this will change on Wednesday. So, you probably expect me to to look back at last year and list some new year's resolutions - that would be traditional. This is quite a new thing for me :). Should be a good enough measure. Oh and did I mention that my job often means I get to work overtime? I've ...

Debbie's Mentations: Trying to be organised
http://debbiesmentations.blogspot.com/2008/05/trying-to-be-organised.html
Saturday, May 24, 2008. Trying to be organised. I've just taken some time out to try and organise my life as much as possible for the next couple of weeks - although God has His own plans and His win. Things are just so crazily busy that it just feels like there are just not enough hours in a day. The more I try to organise, the worse it is. Let's look at June for example:. A trip to Hluhluwe. Tenpin bowling with the guys from work. I also need to do some work travelling. I'm going to try and micro-organ...

Jabulani: August 2007
http://jabulanijo.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2007. Starting school, some key verses. School is starting next week. My classes are Health Policy and Management; Chronic Diseases in developing countries and Women's health (policy controversies). I'm pretty excited about these classes and am hoping to give them the time they deserve, especially since there are only three of them. Did I write that in an earlier post? Saturday, August 18, 2007. Eugene guiltily feeds an ant he threw into the lake. Wednesday, August 15, 2007. I'm work...

Debbie's Mentations: August 2007
http://debbiesmentations.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2007. The laugh of the week finally arrives. Please don't judge me for this post! So I go to the ladies toilets to use the facilities and while I am in the cubicle I hear some familiar "trumpeting sounds". Someone's stomach was not happy with life. Very unhappy. They were the typical trumpeting sounds. We met up again outside and collapsed into giggles. He he he he he. Remember : I said to please not judge me). It could be seeing someone else suffer when you can't do anything about it.

An uncompromising Life...: Hurt!
http://vanessaharwood.blogspot.com/2012/05/hurt.html
Striving to live like Christ and follow the truth of the bible in every area. Thursday, 10 May 2012. It astounds me even more how easily we see the sin of others but are incapable of seeing it in ourselves! Even and especially when it is exactly the same sin. Not in a good way! That he able to see his fault. How am I then going to be able to repent of sin I do not realise exists within me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). But instead seek knowledge, wisdom, counsel from God's word, and then with the h...

Debbie's Mentations: October 2007
http://debbiesmentations.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 30, 2007. God's Grace. Again. We thought I could wriggle my car out so I gave it a bash. It was rather close so she got out to direct me and on doing so noticed that one of my tyres had a bubble in it. Highly dangerous if the bubble pops. I just think of all the things that had to happen to get me and the other lady at the same place at the same time in order for her to point this out to me. Friday, October 26, 2007. I then took a look at the piping of the bathroom, only to discover that...

Debbie's Mentations: Snootiness Levels
http://debbiesmentations.blogspot.com/2008/05/snootiness-levels.html
Monday, May 19, 2008. I was just considering today at where I am in life work-wise. I've moved from the professional, corporate environment, where casual wear was considered anything less than a suit and now I'm in an environment where Fridays are casual day - meaning jeans - even at our Head Office in Joburg. There is a perception that if things are not spelt out 100% then management will exploit it.The word "reasonable" caused lots of issues. May 27, 2008 at 10:23 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Striving to live like Christ and follow the truth of the bible in every area. Thursday, 03 December 2009. Is anybody out there? Is there anyone who hears me tonight? Because I'm growing tired, tired of always pretending. Pretending I'm doing fine, pretending I've got it all figured out, pretending that I'm all right, without you, without you. I used to think my ways were right, it's safe to say I didn't see this coming, you know I didn't see you coming. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

An uncompromising Life...: March 2008
http://vanessaharwood.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Striving to live like Christ and follow the truth of the bible in every area. Saturday, 22 March 2008. I was driving along the other day on familiar road. Now this road leads up to a robot on a fairly steep incline. On that particular day as I was approaching the I thought to myself "Gosh, this is weird, this road hardly seems steep at all today".So that got me thinking.was it that the angle of the road had changed overnight? It all boils down to perspective. So what is the cause of these misperceptions?

An uncompromising Life...: January 2008
http://vanessaharwood.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Striving to live like Christ and follow the truth of the bible in every area. Saturday, 26 January 2008. There is so much depth and so many facets to being a Christian that we can often focus on one particular thing while forgetting what really matters! A camp that I know of "Camp die Kroon" has an awesome theme "Know Christ, Live Christ and Help others do the same! Imagine if we could grasp the heart of Christ how much more we could live like him and impact those around us! Links to this post.
