Random stuff, as usual. It's nice and sunny outside! Now that the scholarly dust is settling, I get to paint and do more art. Tomorrow I'm spending the day at the studio to work on some pieces I want to get going so it should be fun. Also planning to drop by my friends' studios cause I haven't seen them in forever. Blah blah blahlah blah blah. Welcome to graduate school I suppose. I just want to sleep, that's all. Now back to more studying. I uh want ah uh. a uh. copy. Proper breakfast in the apartment.

Hello, it's a yellow marshmallow peep. I took a photo of this single one (amongst boxes of Easter candy we have at work) just this afternoon and have been quite obsessed with it. I made it my Facebook profile pic and even placed it as wallpaper for my week old iTouch. Gigil. How are they hatched. For some reason I want to bring some home in July. Art fairs galore this week in NY. There's just way too much to see, so I may have to wiggle it down to a few that I should make sure to pop in. I have a day and a half to spend looking at art. It may seem a lot but trust me, a day and a half is just too little. I also have dinner with cousins tonight. Anyway, I need to finish work and laundry before I head out. I did it. I set the record for "fastest window completed", ever. From 9am this morning until 8pm I was in the window working my ass off to set everything up and finish it. New Years eve is tonight. and theres snow on the ground! I miss doing windows since I've stopped doing them when school started in September. I just wish I could find a job just doing windows. As preparation for school (ahem! I just got a two-year subscription to ARTFORUM. I figured that while I have some extra cash to spare might as well put it to something I could actually use. Plus, I'll be informed of the current art world hoopla like shows to see and artists to look out for. My bookshelf will be happy. A movie version of one of my favorite books when I was a kid!
