Friday, May 25. Ride to the sea. This week I fulfilled a long-time wish and rode my bike down Ocean Parkway to Coney Island. This tree-lined path starts just south of Prospect Park and continues about 5 miles until reaching the Atlantic Ocean. It's a lovely ride, if a bit bumpy. I'm sure my dad was looking down in disgust because he raised us as Yankee fans, but even he would have appreciated how cool it was to sit in Fenway Park. Definitely the highlight of the trip. Sunday morning we woke up and met up with a friend for lunch. Then we were back on our feet trying cover the Waterfront and the North End. We saw it all and got back in time for our 5 o'clock train home. We loved Boston and can't wait to go back!
