THANKFUL FOR THESE MOMENTS: June 2012

Sunday, June 10, 2012. KALEA’S BAPTISM DAY. Kalea’s pictures have been sitting in my camera waiting for me to post them! Kalea was then fully immersed in water and baptized. After she dried off and was dressed once again we heard a beautiful musical number by Aunt Candice, Lillie and Holly on their violins. The day was just so special and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful loving family. Here are a few of my favorites…. Not the best picture of our family… oh well. Cute friends from church! Christ...

THANKFUL FOR THESE MOMENTS: August 2012

Friday, August 31, 2012. KRISTY IS… OLD. It was so funny and so worth it. I had a great time. Poor Christian knew maybe, MAYBE 2 songs the whole night. But he took me because he loves me and wanted to do something that he knew I would love. He is amazing. Not to mention we didn’t get back until almost 2 am and he had class around 8am that morning. Truly a sacrifice. We stopped off for dinner before the big SURPRISE}. WE HAD 12TH ROW SEATS! Our special little man had a birthday on August 18th! Well, it ha...

Bon appétit!: Happy Fourth
http://bloggingbycourtney.blogspot.com/2009/08/happy-fourth.html
I know, I know - my holidays are all kinds of jacked up. Here it is August, and I'm blogging about Christmas and the Fourth of July. What can I say? I guess Smokey Bear's Birthda. Just isn't as bloggable. What was in the bag? Among patriotic Tootsie Rolls and Fireballs:. Because what says "Happy birthday, America" better than Swedish Fish? With love, Courtney. LOL Is your building run by Capital Associates? August 10, 2009 at 8:30 AM. It is TOTALLY Capital Associates! I will cross my fingers for Labor Day.

Bon appétit!: January 2011
http://bloggingbycourtney.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A lot has happened since I last blogged. Here are some of the highlights (to be expanded on - or not - in the future):. Francine the Ford Focus (a.k.a. the "Forcus") went to the Great Car Lot in the sky. I got a new car (Captain Scurvy, a Mercury Mariner). He's dreamy. My roommate got married. I moved to a new apartment. In a new ward. In a new stake. I adopted two furry little roommates: Conan O'Brien and Gracie. Went to New York. With love, Courtney. That's a little bit of English-major humor.

Bon appétit!: August 2009

As I mentioned earlier. The local Dollar Tree has some interesting items. Here are some of the latest finds. Notably, these were all spotted on one trip. Special thanks to my accomplice who was willing to humor my need to document everything.). Can you spot the problem? Paradox: The back of the "My 1st Birthday" celebratory ribbon warns, "Not for children under the age of 3.". Would you buy the bottle without the label, assuming. The same as a marked bottles? With love, Courtney. Just isn't as bloggable.

My Life At A Glimpse: 25 Random Things
http://mylifeataglimpse.blogspot.com/2009/02/25-random-things.html
Wednesday, February 04, 2009. 1 I'm out of ideas for a blog so I copied facebook ;). 2 I once lived with 18 roommates in college (I even have a picture on facebook to prove it from our Christmas exchange, that’s almost all of us). 3 The most scarring experience that ever happened to me was swimming in Rexburg and having a dead sheep tumble down a mini waterfall and almost touching me before I swam away. 5 I used to use my sister Cassie as a test Dummy for sledding hills in Washington. 13 I can be conned ...

Saturday, March 25, 2006. Craziest Semester Of My Life. So I only have one month left until the end of the semester. Thank Goodness! So overall I am dealing. That is all I can say. There have been some highs this semester and I have grown a lot spiritually which had been great. Without this opposition I would not have grown. So overall I am grateful for that outcome. Nevertheless I am so excited for this semester to end! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Life At A Glimpse. Craziest Semester Of My Life.

The Thinks I Think: March 2013

Saturday, March 16, 2013. One thing I love about Wade is that he is not a quitter. I, on the other hand, tend to be a quitter so he is a good compliment for me. Several weeks ago in the middle of the night he woke me up when he was talking in his sleep. He very audibly and quite emphatically said right to my face, "Don't quit.EVER! First, we tried the trunk. Then we tried the side. Uh, Dad, we bought a tv that's so big it won't fit in my car." Ha, right. We conquered that tv. Saturday, March 16, 2013.

The Beckstrands: October 2010
http://thebeckstrands.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Stephen, Katie, Hailey, Kaleb, Karly, and Blake. Monday, October 25, 2010. This past Thursday we headed out to the NC State Fair! I love, love, LOVE the fair. Here is how the day went. We arrive at the fair about 10:30am and enjoy some ham, sausage, and plain biscuits then head out to watch the bike show and saw some amazing stunts like this. Then we ate the most delicious ice cream ever, from the NCSU creamery. It's the BEST! After ice cream we went off to ride some rides. Can't wait till next year!

The Thinks I Think: September 2011

Monday, September 19, 2011. When I worked at Cafe Zupas my managers made us read a number of self-help books-one of which was called. I called them. And they all agreed to write the letters. It felt really good. So, the moral of this story is that although frogs are really disgusting and may make you sick to your stomach or lose sleep because they are so dreadful, it feels really good just to eat them and be done with it. So to all of you procrastinators out there, eat that frog! View my complete profile.
